Immediate Family, at the Blumenthal Arts, is a comedy-drama about a Black family whose reunion is disrupted when the son, Jesse, brings his white boyfriend home. 

It’s the world premiere of  James Baldwins’ book Giovanni’s Room. Adapted for the stage by Paul Oakley Stovall and Benjamin Sprunger.
